Has anybody yet extended their retirement 'visa' without the embassy letter? If so please write a small post detailingyour experience/ what was required /accepted?

Also, have That immign issued any guidelines yet pertaining to applicants from the nations that have withdrawn the letter service?

I have seen a report by a person claiming to of done a extension application without proof of income from a embassy.

Immigration has not done anything yet. They are expected to issue a police order next month.

I am waiting on seeing the answers to this as well, I figure January and February should bring a few examples our way. But I am going the 400K baht method, its seasoning as we speak for my March visit to Immigration for extension.
