Hi, I read somewhere a few weeks ago to boost tourism they were issuing free 60 day visas on arrival, when does this offer finish, I have tried searching all Thai consulate web sites but cannot find the date, I’m sure it was some time in January? From the UK.

There is no 60 day visa on arrival. There is no free single entry tourist visas that have to applied for at an embassy or consulate.

The 15 day visa on arrival is free until January 13 for those from the countries that qualify for it.

I tell my young son that nothing is free, whether it states it or not.
