webfact
Clerk issues warning about fake 1,000 baht bank notes in Samut Songkhram Picture: Sanook Sanook contacted a clerk at a fishing facility in Samut Songkhram after she went on Facebook to warn traders in the area about fake Thai bank notes. Pakjira Jaroenrat, 48, said the fake only came to light when she went to the bank. Whoever handed it over took advantage of staff being busy. The note in question appeared to be a good fake. However, under light it could be seen that the "garuda" symbol exhibited a yellowish color and not green as in real notes. She warned traders in the Mae Klong market and Don Hoi Lot areas in particular to be on the lookout.
