i need a bike,but im not sure how to go about it,id like a honda 100 wave,[new]

how to go about things. What do i need? Can i insure it? What paper work do I need. I'd be grateful of any help. Thanks, guys. A step by step guide would be helpfull to me.

and do u know of a good insurance company,,,whats the costs do you know.

I just bought a new Wave 100 and its great. It was really easy to get to, all you need to do is give all your documents to the dealer (passport copies, residence letter OR if you don’t have a Non-? visa but have a Thai friend to register it for you, their I.D card and Tabian Baan copies). Once you have done this the dealer will sort out the registration and normally the insurance to. You will have to pick the number plates up in a couple of months so until then make sure you keep your registration receipt with you to show the BIB. They won’t ask for a driving license when you get the bike at the dealer even if they are including insurance but remember that to be covered by the compulsory insurance you probably need a Thai license. The Wave 100 with manual gears and disks cost me 29000 Baht and the charge for registration and insurance was 1000 Baht. Also make sure you remember to tax the bike after one year has passed, it’s just a couple of hundred Baht so all the costs are very low.

In Phuket when i bought a new Nouvo only the passport was used, to get it in my name, Yamaha did all the work.
