Can’t book air Asia flights with debit master card ? In thailand ?

I want booked a flight for a friend to Kl with scb Master Card debit I used it in other country’s in Asia without any problem but here I conform the booking. Enter the sms otp

Got a booking number issued but the payment status is needs payment plz try again

The recommend book ticket in 7 eleven

Can also add leaguage there for international flights ?

Not all cards in Thailand enabled for use on-line. I have a visa debit card from Krungsri which I cannot use to do any on-line purchases.

 

Another factor in your case is that when booking flights and paying by card, the name on the card must match the name of one of the passengers.

 

So you loose both ways. 7/11 is the easiest way for you to go, or use a travel agent. The agency route is probably your better choice if you want to pay for luggage.

That's the way it is you need OTp here. Call your service center and have the authorize the card for internet transactions. Will take 5 mins.

Always a potential for trouble at check-in if name of payer and passenger differs (assuming payer is not flying together).

Although might apply for credit cards only?

That's true for legacy airlines but not LCC's in Thailand.

 

With Air Asia, Nok, Thai-Lion the cardholder doesn't need to be present.
