e cigarettes

Featured Replies

I have been looking on the forums about e cigarettes and was surprised to see they are banned. I was planning on going to Australia and staying in Thailand for a week each way. Can anyone give a definite answer about carrying an E cigarette. From what I am reading it is just against the law to have one in your possession even if you are only there for a week. The E cigarette thing is so different from country to country. In the UK they are seem as a way to stop smoking and are widely available, Australia varies from state to state, but the big surprise is what seems to be a total ban in Thailand. It looks like I will just have to leave my e cig at home, probably end up on the weed again.

So far there is no change in the law.

E-cigarettes forbidden.

It won't help you that they are considering to lift the ban.

Sometime... (Thai bureaucracy is at snail pace).

Currently illegal.
