Taking an AirAsia flight to Surat Thani, then going to ferry to one of the piers. Was hoping to just grab a scooter near one of the piers and just ride to Bophut and returning it to the same place on my way out. Definitely looking for a place that will except a deposit rather than keep my passport. Thanks for any info in advance.

There is a scooter rental place near the start of Nathon Pier. Never spotted one at Lipa Noi.
