Lucky mike Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 Thinking of relocating to Huai Yot ( near Trang) would like to know if there are many English speaking farangs living nearby?
Stocky Posted January 29, 2019 Posted January 29, 2019 I've driven through it a few times, but never felt like stopping. 1
LosLobo Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 I spent a week in Trang 10 years ago, from what I remember I didn't see any westerners there except for the bar owner near the station. There was a bomb blast near there in 2016 so not sure if he is still there. In the peak season I understand there are tourists visiting the nearby islands. There wasn't any English spoken by the locals. 1
Concrete Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Nice area, very few farangs though. Learn to speak Thai.

phuketsub Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Very few farangs there. My good buddy married a girl from there and built a house, but they have since moved to the states. 1
