Get over it. Grow some thicker skin. You do not permit the name of Allah to be in print, but the rest of the world does not engage in such inane practices. We consider them invalid and unacceptable. So, adapt. Grow. Prosper. Move on. Defy tradition, that is useless and leads nowhere. I have always considered people who are comfortable with their own spiritual beliefs and actually have a relationship with their creator, instead of one they just talk about, to be comfortable enough within their own skin, that little things like this are not an issue.

Society has gotten far too sensitive. What ever happened to the thick skin of yesteryears, when nothing was off limits? Makes one nostalgic, when we look back on times when men were men, and women were women, and did not behave like offended adolescents, every time they perceived the tiniest slight. Not appealing behavior. Not dignified, not elegant, not grown up. Just weak.

Sad to say, all those who are offended by everything, against anything and creating terrorrisms, only from that religion. OMG! Am speecheless.

blasts Nike for allowing God's name to be 'trampled, kicked and become soiled with mud or even filth'.

as opposed to God's name to win races, set records and inspire team spirits.

Just like playing old albums backwards to here satanic messages, you have to read AIRMAX backwards to make it "resemble" Arabic.

No worries most of the Muslim world can't afford the stupid prices charged for those shoes anyway.

I bet they already built a team to figure out how they can get McDonalds for similar accusations.

I also wonder if a response from Nike's PR team would be appropriate with an ad under the motto: "Go in style - go with Nike"

considering that the prophet Muhammad was a pedophile, this criticism of Nike is a bit misplaced if you ask me.

Nobody’s blaming the Thai education system this time...

but its still ok for them to suicide bomb us. double standard.

'Islam teaches compassion, kindness and fairness towards all. We urge Nike to recall this blasphemous and offensive shoe and all products with the design logo resembling the word Allah from worldwide sales immediately.     Is Nike going to comply with this Nonsense? I hope Not what are they trying to do ruling the World what one can do or Not do what a load of crap Even statement " 'Islam teaches compassion, kindness and fairness towards all " is a Blatant Lie, Just Read the Quran and than one will see what they Really are Teaching.

And its only readable on the left shoe: Double insult.  Bottom line should be they don’t have to buy.  And if a fellow muslim is caught wearing a pair, his left foot should be cut off.

Flip the images so that it can be read as English and it spells out AIMAX.  Where's the 'r' in Airmax?  However...

It's all about perception.  This begs the question: Who do you accuse of blasphemy if the clouds suddenly look like someone you revere as sacrosanct, or a pattern in the sand and rocks of a riverbank spells out a name?  Look hard and deep enough and your mind can form all sorts of symbols out of nothing.  If you turn the average English novel upside down and backwards, I'm pretty sure that every novel printed will offend someone somewhere who will read into something that wasn't intentionally put there.

Reminds me of another fantasy..... Farang belief about Christenings, weddings, funerals, virgin Mary statues and.... the list goes on.

What is you point?  Could not wait to get your anti Thai comment onto a thread... a thread which has ZERO to do this Thais or their religion.  Pathetic.

All six thousand?

This as  pathetic as  putting  ads  for Villa Mart up as  closed  forum topics !

Yes, disgusting slobs.  The ones on CBC are fat pigs to boot; which is why they are paid a fraction of what the malignant c**** in America are paid.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia.........
