SooKee Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 First time I've come across this and only discovered it while I was trying to make a payment for an order using the Kasikorn mobile app. I'd also being trying to transfer to my Kasikorn account from Bangkok Bank using both an Android phone and an iPad and was constantly getting 'Cannot' from both the phone and iPad apps. Was able to finally transfer to Kasikorn from Bangkok's online banking though but even that took about 20 attempts. Anyway, checked just now and couldn't pay a company that uses SCB and which I have saved as a favourite in the Kasikorn app. Nothing else showed up, just ''temporarily unavailable" every time I hit 'Confirm' to pay. I then tried to set up a new payment, just in case the favourite was the issue but no. This time though, being a new payment, you get the list of banks that you can send to. There I noticed against SCB 'Bank temporarily unavailable'. Went back and checked again and that marker was also showing against Bangkok Bank and GSB. I'm guessing this unavailability is affecting both my transfer out from Kasikorn to SCB and, likely, my numerous attempted transfers in to Kasikorn from Bangkok Bank all of which fail. Never come across this before. Having checked the respective banks there's nothing about system outages or upgrades on their sites, might be some behind the scenes stuff I guess. Odd. I'll look again later or tomorrow. If they are still 'out' I'll check with Kasikorn.

Tried 5-6 times and wouldn't go through. Had to ask them for different acct to send to which was fine. BKK bank and not KBank.

Yeah, it looks like there might have been some down time between the affected bank networks. Working fine for me now including a transfer from Bangkok Bank's mobile app to Kbank (though the design concept of the BKK Bank is beyond me! How on earth you are ever supposed to add a 3rd party payee to save having to enter the details every damn time is beyond me, I guess you just have to use a Favourite (if it will let you edit the amount) as it certainly doesn't pick up the 3rd parties you add via online banking).

They should then be in your phone app. Yeah I thought that is exactly what would happen. Added one today, shows up fine in the list on website banking, nothing on the mobile app, just blank. Only thing I'm wondering is if it takes a period of time to populate back and will show up tomorrow. Fingers crossed. Awful app compared to Kasikorn's, given the almost exclusively 1* reviews of late on the Play Store it seems a commonly held view ☹️. Edited January 31, 2019 by SooKee

One I'll bear in mind if I get 'Cannot' messages again. So I am not alone. At 17:30h this afternoon it took me two attempts to transfer from Bangkok Bank to Kasikorn. First attempt gave an unspecific "can not" error message. That was from the PC browser, can't comment on mobile apps. Maybe one bank has messed up the interbank transfer system once again. Some time last year it was completely broken for half a day or so. Kasikorn was the culprit. Overloading by some erroneous action. On the other hand Bangkok Bank internet was repeatedly overloaded, could not be reached or creepingly slow. It had this on a few occasions last year. Edited January 31, 2019 by KhunBENQ 1
