Bought shave creams from this guy before.. He also rehoned and restored to shave ready a straight I was trying for a while.. 

 

If you look on ali express or bang good etc.. the patent ran out on the Merkur Futur DE adjustable razor design.. So China now produced them for under 10 bucks.. By far my favourite DE after a trying a bunch.

The Merkur clone has a really nice weight, and the adjustability to the blade gap means you can compensate for different DE blades aggressive nature or not eg I find the feathers suggested earlier to be a bit much, Astra platinum my current faves.. 

 

I used to hate shaving.. I have a gypsy blue beard.. But since making it more of a ritual, with quality items, its much more tolerable.
