webfact Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Twenty four story Bangkok condo evacuated as fire breaks out on second floor Daily News reported that the 24 story Lumpini condominium (building D) was evacuated last night after a fire broke out in a room on the second floor. Rescue services and police went to the condo as smoke and fire billowed out of the room. Their report - timed at 11.15 pm - said that the residents had still not been allowed back into the building. The second floor room contained two people and a pet dog. Initial reports suggest a short circuit was to blame. Five people were taken to Phayathai Nawamin Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. The condo is on Nawamin Road in the north eastern part of the capital. Source: Daily News -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2019-02-07
