Ed visa extension

Hi

My ed visa will expire on the 30th of April but I want to extend it 2months before as I want to apply for an Irish visa going to Ireland but before I go to Ireland I have a flight going to Malaysia and then come back to Thailand. Is it possible to extend 2months before my visa expires?

You can extend the visa for 90 days with supporting paperwork from the school.

What is expiring your visa or your permit to stay from an entry from it or and extension of stay.

You can only apply for an extension 30 days early or 45 days at some offices.

Do you have a re-entry permit for you current permit to stay?

I will apply for a re-entry after I have done my extension but I'm worried because I still have more than 2months before my visa expires

I have a 5months visa which will end on 30th of April but I want to extend this coming 20th of February as I need to apply for an Irish visa. I can't apply later as I have a flight out of the country on March

There are no five-month visas.

It was granted to us, not just to me but to all my fellow students. I extended my edvisa last year on the month of November and we were given 5 months. That's why my visa ends on the 30th of April

Do you mean immigration gave you an extension of stay(which is not a visa) which coincided with the end of your course?

It's an Education Visa as I am still studying. Before when we apply for an extension we only get 3 months but the last time I did I was given 5months.

You will not be able to do the extension that early.

You can get the re-entry permit and it will be valid for entry up to the date your current extension ends. That means you will need a single re-entry for each trip unless you want to ge multiple re-entry permit of a 3800 baht instead of a single for 1000 baht.
