Pattaya officials make arrests at three hotels operating without licences

Sophon Cable TV reported on Facebook that a contingent of Bang Lamung officials along with protection services and the tourist police raided four hotels in the Pattaya area.

Russian Consulate-General to open in Phuket this year

PHUKET: The Russian Federation is expected to open a Consulate-General in Phuket later this year to cater to the needs of the resident Russian expat community and Russian tourists alike, Russian Ambassador to Thailand Evgeny Tomikhin has announced.

Thailand takes steps to improve transport safety for tourists

The first round of safety standards will be first implemented for tourist buses

 

The Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) is joining hands with state agencies including the Department of Land Transport, Marine Department and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to improve tourist safety standards nationwide and overturn perceptions of the country as a dangerous tourist destination.

US-Thai bust seizes 180,000 fake goods in Bangkok

Workers' call for Bt360 daily minimum wage
