Hi all, friend of mine got tourist 2+1 month visa from Thai embassy in Ukraine. He would like to fly in, take trip to Bali and come back to Thailand on the same visa. Can he buy a re entry permit as with other type of visas, so his visa will be still active on the return from Bali? Thank you in advance for replying.

Single re-entry 1,000 baht available from Immigration or at major airports.

I guess you mean a 60 day tourist visa with the option to extend for 30 days?

If he enters Thailand he will get a 60 day permission to stay which can be kept alive with the re-entry permit. So return required within the 60 days.

He then can apply for the 30 day extension.
