Married visa

Recommended Posts

You can get a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai without financial proof in Savannakhet Laos.

A multiple entry non-o allows unlimited 90 day entries for a year from the date of issue.

It is also possible at the consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

How much would the cost of this be pls and  could you continually indefinitely getting this VISA from Laos year on year ? If so a possible solution to the falling exchange rate for those near the lower end of income requirements, or indeed those not wishing to transfer monies to Thailand banks.  What paperwork would be required ?

It costs B5000 (in Savannakhet). You need to prove that you are formally married - marriage certificate and so on.

Asking about using it to circumvent other requirements is probably not that wise.

The fee is 5000 baht in Savannakhet.

There are people that have been getting them for years back to back.

Marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of your wife's house book and ID card signed by her.

5,000Bht for the Thai VISA, $30-$44 for the Laos VISA (depending on your nationality), one overnight in a hotel around 500bht.

Nobody can predict the future.
