snoop1130 Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Two Persian cats perish in Bangkok residence building fire By The Nation Two Persian cats suffocated to death after a fire broke out in a room at the National Housing Estate in Nonthaburi’s Pak Kret district on Thursday morning. The two cats were found barely breathing in the flat after 10 fire engines took about 40 minutes to put out the blaze. The cats died shortly after they were taken out of the room. Flat owner, 62-year-old Sansiya Chuenchaiyasit, told police that she ran out for help when she saw smoke coming out of the balcony and did not think to take the cats with her. Police have yet to investigate the cause of the fire. Source: http://www.nationmultimedia.com/detail/breakingnews/30364976 -- © Copyright The Nation 2019-02-28

Prairieboy Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Sad to see - could have been worse had they been Siamese cats! 1 1
