I just posted story called "Anybody in Chang Mai" and it was there for ten minutes then it was gone. ? Why?

Thai Visa does not permit "Missing Persons" threads because the subject is a legal minefield. It is too easy for, for example, an abusive husband or boyfriend to pose as a caring friend, looking for a missing girl, only to find her and cause her severe harm. If the Forum was involved in such a case, we could be held to account.

A blanket ban is safer for all concerned than expecting us to have to check the bona fide's of every poster. An impossible task in any case.

I can only suggest making use of one of the many private detective agencies operating in the Kingdom, or placing advertisements in local English or Thai language press for the missing person to contact you..
