I don't know if they are now requiring it BUT as of this week, they are requiring the 3 month seasoning of the 800k Baht (£20,000) for the issuing of an O-A visa, which wasn't ever required. You just had to show a bank statement. Now you need 3 months of statements showing the money in the account for that period. I think you need to contact them and ask. IMO, though, with electronic application, everything is going to processed by the rule book.

Didn't mention that on website for Canberra embassy.

I'm going to email them and ask if it needs seasoning. I'm sure they'll say just add chilli. Haha.

This is London I am referring too. I am 100% not saying it is a world wide thing because I don't know that. I only know what London implement. The problem is though, many of these Embassy's fail to update there websites with the latest information for years in some cases.
