Recommended Posts

i am UK & irish citizen, i know that is complicated, anyway i am both.

my irish passport ran out last year, which leaves me only UK passport.

i need a visa to enable my stay in thailand for 90 days only

what is best visa option ?  maybe a 60 day then pay 1900 baht for a 15 extention ?  my total time will not exeed 90 days , maybe i will be there only 75-80 days im just not sure.

anyway, can i apply in dublin consulate ?

can drive down to dublin but will they accept my uk / brit passport

Yes, why not? You can apply for a Thai visa in any city that has an embassy, no need for it to be in your home country. A single entry 60 day visa plus 30 day extension will fit your needs perfectly.

Not true some Thia Embassies only offer visas to citizens or those with formal residency status. Also, citizens of many countries cannot get a visa outside of their home country
