I recently started dating a Thai woman here in the U.S. I am wondering what a good translation website or book might be. We speak English when we talk but occassionally she will say things in Thai and I need to know what they are.

Dictionaries:

http://lexitron.nectec.or.th/

http://cyberdict.com (click the top menu item on the left, this will take you to either a English->Thai or Thai->English dictionary)

Breaking Thai text into individual Thai words (so you can then look them up)

http://ntl.nectec.or.th/services/wordbreak/ (Though it doesn't seem to work right now)

Machine Translation from English to Thai:

http://www.suparsit.com/index2new.html (Like most machine translations, it's not very accurate, and this one is less accurate than a Babelfish type translation of say English to German would be.)

That last one can be quite funny... So use with caution!! :o

Cheers,

Chanchao
