Am looking to book 2 or 3 weeks and prices are 800bht cheaper in the hotel we stay in per night, for October instead of November? Whys Oct so much cheaper? lapd
It can vary year to year. Usually not too bad but expect to have to deal with flooded streets at least once. Usually only rains late afternoon early evening for an hour or two. You just adjust your schedule. It's not too big a deal. November is usually much nicer, cooler and drier. But prices for hotels go up quite a bit. So Aug-Oct is better value. I much prefer Pattaya low season for everything besides the rain. Thais appreciate your business more, less 'sponsors' around. So it's a worthwhile trade off for me. Edited March 21, 2019 by lapd
