Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha receives flowers from HM the King on the occasion of his 65th birthday at the Government House on Thursday.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Thursday expressed his gratitude to HM the King for his birthday flowers.

Government spokesman Werachon Sukondhapatipak said the premier felt deeply impressed with the King’s attention to his birthday. Other royal family members also gave Prayut flower vases to mark the occasion.

Werachon said Prayut thanked everyone who expressed birthday wishes on social network platforms.

Prayut is 65 today.

“The premier personally believes that today is not a special day for him. He feels everyday is his special day to think and do useful things for the country,” the spokesman said.

His birthday wishes were that the country moved forward and free from conflict and that all parts of the society jointly developed for the sake of prosperity and well-being.
