Sickening how cheap life is here. Murdering a woman for refusing to lend him more money, low life scum needs some of his own treatment. What is the place becoming? murdering for loan refusal

Not a defense of the murderer. In fact he probably borrowed 2000 baht.

But the interest rate on these short term loans can be up to 20% per month.

Loan sharks are scum and borrowers from them are at least foolish.

It does not help that Thai banks will not give loans to small businesses.

India for instance has a cheap, fair and proactive "peoples" loan bank.

They have a very low default repayment.

This is because they become involved in the loan process and give advice to those who have a "business plan".

Life is cheap in Thailand, maybe if he cannot offer 50,000 baht to the family, he will go to prison for a few months

I will say this... It is always very likely that we don't know the entire story. It is highly UNLIKELY that the money issues were the only issues between them.

These lowlife Thais in these random Nakon Nowhere villages are perpetually drenched in drama and troubles. Families squabbling over money issues, infidelity, all manner of stuff."

Not really, but as you claimed it from the beginning, I figure that you should provide the links etc to back up what you said.
