South Korean wanted for masterminding football gambling deported

Immigration Police on Tuesday arrested a South Korean man, who allegedly led an online football gambling gang from a house in Samut Prakan’s Bang Phli district, Immigration Bureau commissioner Pol Lt-General Surachate Hakparn said.

Siamese rosewood logs and bicycles seized but smugglers flee after Surin stake-out

A recent stake-out in an attempt to suppress the smuggling of Siamese rosewood in the northeastern border province of Surin resulted in the interception of 12 logs along with two bicycles, Huay Tab Tan-Huay Sam Rarn Wildlife Sanctuary head Wutthikul Ngampanya said on Tuesday.

No plan for layoffs, says Chon Buri hospital director

PHUKET:-- Sixteen nationals – 13 men and three women – were arrested in Chalong this afternoon (April 2) for allegedly operating a stock market price speculation call centre scam targetting Chinese victims.
