Just finished my Extension Of Stay for another year at Chang Wattana and it went well.  Got my Que number for the Extension about 9 and waited for my turn.  When called, told the lady I needed an Extension Of Stay for another year and gave her my paperwork, 1st page of passport, Income letter from the US Embassy, passport pages, and TM 6.  This year for the first time, she gave me a blank sheet of paper and instructed me to show directions to where I lived.  Easy to do as I live on a Soi just off Sukhumvit.  She also had me sign 2 copies of acknowledgment of the new Extension of Stay the requirements for my renewal next year and gave me 1 copy to keep.  Paid 1900 Baht and was told to wait.  Received my passport back around 10:15 .  Good to go for another year!!!!

How much in advance of your current extension's expiration date did you apply?

 

And, did the IO ask for any other income documentation besides your U.S. Embassy income letter?

 

Tall Guy  I Applied for my Extension of Stay 30 Days ahead of time.  Was not asked any questions about Income verification.  The Immigration lady just took all of my paperwork, including my US Embassy Statement Of Income, reviewed my paperwork, and asked me to pay 1900 Baht and instructed me to wait to be called for my passport.
