I saw a thread recently where guesthouse ( an old friend who hasn't been on since 2017 ) mentioned having a Pavoni.

I am trying my best to get a decent espresso out of it, but so far have failed.

I even cocked up the milk frothing.

So, as much as I read on different websites , every brilliant suggestion is rebutted and I am getting nowhere.

What I do know is my beans are probably too old, i.e. a month plus after roasting.

This I will get sorted tomorrow when I buy beans I know are freshly roasted.

So from tomorrow I hope to make progress.

My machine is new from Milan, Europiccola ELH, and I have a Breville Smart Grinder Pro new from Amazon.

Help and advice is all I ask for.

Thanks.

John
