Double Entry/triple Entry Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

I used to get a double tourist visa back in 2004 (from Penang). Just wonder do I have any chance to get it again these days? If yes – when to get it around here (I mean south east asia)? I notice that no one is talking about double/triple visa anymore … please advise .. (I have a new passport - no visa and no stamp)

Do not believe Penang will issue anything but single entry and other Consulates in area are iffy these days. Anyone with recent experience on a clean passport?

In the region only Single Entry Visa.

And in Europe there aren't any problems with triple Entries (got mine in Essen/Gemany)

In Germany maybe, but not in the whole Europe :D

In France it is not possible any more to get triple-entry. :o

It was never possible to get fourth-entry.

It even become difficult to get double-entry ! They apply the 90 days rules on all tourist visa :D I had to show garanties and a plane tickets with a return fly less than 90 days after I arrive to get mine.

With a similar logic, you can only get 3 months single-entry nom-Imm B visa.

To get a 1 year multi-entry nom-Imm B visa you need to show then your Work Permit !!! :D

Things become very hard for French people wanting to stay long time in Thailand. :D

France definitively is not Europe...

what were those "garanties" u mention? also i'm curious about how it would be possible for u to obtain a WP without a prior non-imm visa?

And would you explain who said that you could obtain a work permit without a non immigrant visa? I can't find it.

Hi oooooo,

Please read carefuly :o

1- "garanty" was for my double-entry Tourist Visa. Mainly 3 months hollidays autorisation from my employer and plane ticket showing return before 90 days were ok. They want to be sure that you will not stay more thant 90 days as a tourist in Thailand. :D

2- for the work permit (not me) the guy got a 3 single-entry non-Imm B visa. As I said before, what is refuse is one year multi-entry, but I supose my english is not very clear... sorry :D
