All that cooking and shopping you must have gotten some good exercise as well. ???? Only kidding. Well done. I am just about to embark on a similar quest.

The exercise is driving with my Motorbike to BigC, hope to find a parking space close to the entry. ???????? So I have not to carry the grocery bags more than 20 meters.

Well I bough another motorbike with a side car, drive the 10 Kilometers to the Maprachan Lake (that burns calories??)

and walking the dogs about 2 Km every morning at 5am..

Also not really an exercise but sure a good startup for the inner system before breakfast..

and I forgot one significant thing.

Thai Fizzdriks are all too sweet and taste too horrible to provide refreshment so I was always cheating myself on Pepsi.

I changed to Imported more tangy 100% fruit Juices that didn't glue my mouth together.

After reading the amount of Calories = 160 - 180 per 0.3 Ltr on the Box, I returned to my beloved Pepsi with 120 cal per can 0.33 ltr.

Ok to be honest, 60% of the Pepsi is now swapped to Naam Pau (mineral water)..

You don't need a specialist to tell you what food to put in your mouth! Some comments here regarding Thai food are justified

Too much sugar and too much emphasis on white rice and noodle and sadly lacking in fibre.

Turn your attention to plenty of fruit and vegetables, whole grains and go light on red and processed meats.

And get some exercise.

Oh and strict limits on alcohol intake.

I agree much of Thai food has too much sugar, and no one yet has mentioned the palm oil that is used for both stir and deep frying. It is high in saturated fat, and turns into dangerous trans fat at high temperatures. As for low in fiber, you can always ask for extra vegetables (same as you can ask for half or no sugar). But I do chuckle when people move to Thailand and then say "don't force me to eat any of that Thai cuisine!" It's world famous for a lot of reasons.
