The dems are looking way off balance and nuttier each day. You get no real articles here about them so it isn't apparent if this is your go to place for news.

Mocking the 9/11 deaths as "somebody did something" is definitely out of control behavior and Trump is right to call her out for that.

Which is not what she did.

I'd say she was "out of control" long before that last speech.

""Out of control?"".

A very apt description of Trump I would say.

Beyond ludicrous when Trump accuses anyone else for being "out of control".

Regarding assimilation (and not assimilating seen as bad); how many posters here speak Thai? How many have integrated themselves into local community of Thais? How many have genuine Thai friends? How many have adopted Buddhism? How many have real relationships with Thais, not just "pay to play"?

How many people want the TV crowd living near them, for that point? I came back to the USA for the rights I am afforded.

Well I understand your retuning for the rights your afforded.

But the amount of time you spend here does suggest you are missing ‘the TV crowd’.

And of course, your new neighbors have a member of ‘the TV crowd’ amongst them.

Pelosi is really spending a lot of time trying to defend the radicals in the party.

Better than a party of lame ducks who waddle behind Trump's swagger.

So, you admit the dems are filled with radicals. That's a start.

Where did she mock the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks?

By using the phrase she chose, it comes across, that she is dismissing the incident as not so big, relevant or bad.

"Some people did something" not a wise choice of words given the circumstances she was referring to. At best a simple mistake at worse she fully intended to minimize something carried out in the name of her faith. She could have attacked those who carried out this hideous crime for being lunatics and not representing Islam, but didn't. She chose to attack the reaction of people who were horrified by the attacks instead.

Normally I agree with your posts, but here we will have to disagree.

I don't believe she was minimising the events of 9/11.

She certainly wasn't mocking the victims as the other poster claimed.

I really don't think that was the context in which she meant to use the term, more that in general "some people" have done something (extremely bad I know) and now the backlash has spread to a whole race or religion, which is not right.

Furthermore, what exactly did the USA do to the people and backers of this heinous crime??

Money, defence contracts, oil and politics came to the fore and those people that should have been bought to account, weren't.

Republican govt with a POTUS with oil interests perhaps? And of course the crooked clown helped himself to a few hundred thousand dollars.........see below:-

This is Trump's Willie Horton moment. Trump maybe a loathsome pussy grabber but the pro politicians cannot hold a candle to him.

Maybe Trump should stop supporting Saudi Arabia-as the 9/11 attackers came from there, and they teach the most radical form of Islam, and they recently murdered a US resident In a pre meditated murder.  Instead he wants to sell the nuclear technologies that he and his friends will benefit from ????

At the end of the day people vote with their pocketbooks. What's in it for them? If you're on public assistance you'll go with any dem, I would. I only hope AOC and omar keep up the good work.

When she ran in her district she won on a progressive platform

"Medicare for all," criminal justice reform and abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).But now she has gone national

If she continues with her off the cuff remarks about  making light of terror in America she will be a great boost in winning the swing voter

Guess she doesn't curtsey to the Saudis then, I wonder who does that?

The economy turning in some great numbers and he's still unpopular. He's managed a feat no other politician could.

Goldman Sachs wrote a piece today saying Trump will win if the economy stays as it is.

Given trump's actions  have contributed enormously to the likes of Goldman Sachs executive pay and appointments within the Administration, not surprising they would write puff pieces for trump. trump's policy focus in support of the 1% is breath taking in its hypocrisy.

He remains widely popular with his like minded misogynist, sexist, white supremacist uneducated base,  and old white people.

She's out of control......a real piece of work and I don't care what party she is playing at. I'm more American then she ever will be and I'm not American.

She is right. The question: 'would you look the other way if war crimes are being committed because you think it is in the US interests' is a very legitimate question.

A question like that "should be" an insult to most Americans who love their country. It is not a legitimate question coming from a member of congress. She was not there to ask questions, only there to insult Americans. And I don't care what party you follow, I sleep with neither of them.
