Metropolitan Police commissioner Pol Lt Gen Itthipol Atchariyapradit said Lalil Wongwiwatthada, 29, was arrested at her house in the RK Park 406 housing estate in Bangkok’s Klong Sam Wa district at 12.05am on Thursday.

Police seized 1,940 fake goods from the house, including those that violated Gucci, Snoopy, Mickey Mouse, Paul Frank and Adidas brands.

Police also seized a smartphone and a notebook computer.

Itthipol said the arrest was made after the bureau received complaints that a Facebook user used the Live broadcast service to sell fake brand name goods.

Don't think she made all those things by herself. Isn't there a factory somewhere?

Deep.

A. Will the goods be destroyed ?

B. Find there way back into the market ?

C. 8 people for the photo-shoot.

D. No "pointer".

E. In the grand scheme of things, 2000 items are worthless. Why not go for the big fish ?

Violating Snoopy and Mickey Mouse - that's just sick ...

The heat wave caused her to sell online instead on Sukhumvit.

Oh crap! Now where am I going to get my favourite knock offs from !!

They should go onto Lazada. Plenty of fake stuff on there.

And yes, eBay sells fake stuff too, but they don’t have a proper Thai eBay.

my wife used to go to thong lo station to buy them form the cops for resale. I went with her once. Warehouses full of merchandise and police officers at desks selling it. Only for personal use of course. we enjoyed the 500 gucci bags she brought home immensely.

The local coppers.

...and Lazada can do it!!!

Usually, when you're indulging in criminal activity you keep a very low profile and don't tell anyone. In Thailand, they broadcast their activity on Facebook and then are surprised when police come knocking at the door. A very special kind of stupid.

Easier to find them at any market

It's very hard to sell copies on eBay.if you try to sell a Rolex for £50 it'll get flagged or if you try to sell it as an original for big money the buyer will raise the alarm bell.

It's over 70 years since Walt Disney died. The copyright has expired. The US congress unilaterally decided to extend the copyright until 2099. Usual BS about IP.

Thousands people are selling them online, so why her ?!

A post containing a derogatory generalization toward the police has been removed.

Perhaps somebody should send the officials a google maps link to Chinatown in Bangkok....????

I digress, but whoever imagined Mickey (Pence) and Donald would finish up running the U S of A?

Selling dodgy stuff on Farcebook is just asking for it. Cops are just watching and waiting plus most of these low level perps are not smart enough to take precautions like a vpn or Tor ... amongst others like not doing live broadcasts of yourself selling fake luxury goods, haha.
