Does anyone know if you can get a IP number from 3bb that does not change ? I would not mind paying a bit extra for this. I will ask them next time i see them in the mall but I thought id ask here first if anyone has any experiences.

Can't say for sure, but I think you can.... However, as best as I recall, having a fixed IP with them is very pricey... Best thing to do is just call and ask their EN speaking customer service main number at 1530.

Ok then i wont do that I dont want to run a server or anything like that just some of the software i need (voip) likes it more if i use one IP so they can white list it. Now they whitelist ranges but it can change a lot.

Use DYN DNS and ask them to add your FQDN instead of the IP.

with TOT you can but you will pay for a commercial service but then I presume it's the same in most of Europe?

For voip perhaps you can consider asterix or something installed in a 5 usd/month digitalocean vps server so your ip will always be fixed and asterix can proxy your voip connection to main voip server. Or some other sip proxy (asterix is not very easy to deal with)

or you can use vpn which will make your voip work even better. Singapore digitalocean vps method will guarantee you have a fixed ip at a cost much lower than 3bb.
