Oh dear, never mind.

How can you defend someone driving illegaly ? Oh dear! Why should I claim on my insurance if not at fault and the other driver has no licence or insurance?

or up to several millions baht if ever your kill or severally hurt someone while illegally driving a bike...

Most Thais do not have a licence so why worry?

Ah you are not Thai.

Clearly you have no fundamental understanding of how the Thai accident insurance claim process works either. Do you drive in Thailand ?

Yes ,just got my car back from claiming to have respray from stone chips.

Do you ?

For decades.

So why do you have the attitude that it is OK to drive without a licence when you have lost your licence through poor driving?

You are a troll 100%

The chances of one unlicensed foreigner killing me or any of my family in Pattaya are 0. The chances of an unlicensed Thai killing me or my family elsewhere in Thailand are 28,000,000 times greater

so that's okay then?

Clearly you don't read my posts. I stated I do not condone driving without a license - clear ? (for clarity that means I don't support people driving without a license)

I went on to explain that the odds of myself or my family being knocked down and killed in Pattaya are 0 - why ? well no longer myself or any members of my family live or go to Pattaya as simply we have no need to.

Following on from that I stated the odds of being killed by an unlicensed Thai driver is 28,000,000 greater as that is the conservative estimate of numbers of unlicensed Thai drivers on Thai roads.

Now is that clear to you. Finish.

Don't worry; you're not the only one. I know quite a few Thais, but also foreigners without a license who always have 200 baht in case the cops want to see their license.

If they're asking for more, please tell them that you want a receipt and it might drop to 100 baht. Mai Phenn Rai.

I had lost my license for speeding many years ago and I know how easy that can happen.

Who are you to make somebody to a criminal who's just driving a bit too fast?

Aren't we all driving too fast from time to time here?

I do not know anybody in LOS who keeps the 90 km/h limit on a highway.

No it is you who can not grasp the fact that speeding is careless!

why is exceeding the speed limit , careless driving ?

So someone doing 55 kph on a 50 road, with no traffic or houses is careless?

but someone doing 50 kph on a wet and busy road , but not exceeding the speed limit is not ?

Most European drivers try and drive to suit the conditions, but speed cameras do not take this into account, they just register the speed, not the conditions

Perhaps you could explain why, in the UK over 90% of deaths and injuries are caused by drivers NOT exceeding the speed limit,

No I can not explain because I live in Thailand.

You do not lose your licence from driving a bit to fast. In the U.K it is double the speed limit or you have made so many offences that you are banned.

This is not about speeding but about having no driving licence.

The title of this thread is Driving without a driving licence ! So many people think this is OK
