You can get a re-entry permit to keep the 2nd year valid if you want to travel.

You can obtain reentry permit for second yr. Not required for first 12 months as its multi entry.

You can get a re-entry permit for travel outside of the country during your second year. With a mulitple you can come and go as you please.

Not true, the permission to stay can be kept by using  re-entry permits.
