28millibar BBQ Regulator in Thailand

Featured Replies

I am bringing a Campingaz BBQ to thailand which requires a 28mlbr regulator, so far, from my calls to various Thai BBQ Shops, either they don't know what I am talking about or one occasion, was told that in Thailand, all regulators are 20millibar. Campingaz in France tells me that unless it is 28mbr, the Barbeque will not work properly.

Does anyone have any information about different regulators in Thailand ? By the way, Butane is the gas used with this item.

You need to get a butane bottle and regulator (different thread). Regs are often adjustable (behind a seal) so you should be able to up the pressure slightly until things work.

Talk to your local gas bottle shop, they will be able to help.

It may be worth bringing a reg (thread type) from Europe with the barbie.

EDIT You could even make a simple manometer (pressure gauge), 28mBar is about 11 inches of water.

EDIT 2 Bring one of these https://www.calor.co.uk/shop/essentials-butane-regulator.html
