US to Thailand Package Forwarding Suggestions

Featured Replies

I am looking for a US to Thailand package forwarder.  I will be low volume, I do not need pictures sent to me and no monthly fee.  Someone suggest Shipito.  I have also looked at MyUS.

Does anyone have any suggestions that they have had goof look with?

I currently use Planet Express and have generally been satisfied with them.

I used Shipito in the past and was satisfied with them as well. I just found Planet Express to be cheaper. The savings add up if you ship a lot but may not be the most important factor if you are "low volume."

I can't comment on MyUS.

usa2me basic plan there is no monthly fee.

Have a look at usgobuy

Would there be any advantage, or obstacles, to having a ship to address in a sales-tax-free state?

I mean other than the obvious one of saving money.

Alaska
Delaware
Montana
New Hampshire
Oregon

NO, but you have to find a mail forwarder located in one of those states, two I know of off hand are: US Go Buy @ https://www.usgobuy.com/en/contact-us.html

and AmForward @ https://www.amforward.com/

Shipito does have an Oregon warehouse option but it is expensive option

Ditto on me with Planet Express, and formerly a customer of Shipito...

The guys who run Planet Express are pretty good and definitely are customer friendly once you get to know them.  And their prices for their own branded economy airmail shipping to Thailand are the best I've found.

As least based on my experience with Shipito in the past, they had higher courier shipping rates out of their Oregon location vs. their So. Cal. location, and that had the potential to offset any sales tax savings... depending on the value of the purchased item you'd be sending there.

They're good for handling postal mail forwarding. But their package forwarding rates are very expensive compared to the dedicated package forwarding services like Planet Express and Shipito.

I don't use package forwarding very often so it the customer support is really important to me. I've tried Planet Express and their main added value is the customer support, not the price.

I'll suggest you Planet Express because I have use their services many time and have satisfied with them
