Mr Hammond said he was meeting all the candidates this week to decide who to back.
"I would not support a policy of no-deal by choice," he told Sky News.

Whoever becomes Prime Minister can simply sack Hammond as Chancellor the next day, and then he is just another back bencher.

Given the present turmoil in government circles, it would be a storm in a teacup.

That's the reason he shall try to avoid backing anyone who has not his preference or not his side

Not what I said but I decided a long time ago.

Exactly what you said " Not worth it. EU should stop the extensions!  "

If his opponents can't get him on the vote, remove him by some devious slimy means.

That's politics, they are all doing it, surprised? Boris is certainly a leading contender for devious slimy politician of the decade, and the competition is huge. Most Tory MPs despise, and indeed many hate him, because he is so disloyal, unreliable, and self interested. He may never be put forward to the collapsing Tory membership (As their average age is apparently 57, many are literally collapsing). The court case may have no bearing on events anyway.

Ah a spoony reference, that's the cheap and ugly pub chain I believe. I no longer drink so no, it is not a spoony fact. I have read it a number of times though, but I am off to work and don't have the time to look references up.

A teetotaler's opinion on pubs is worth about as much as a Remainer's opinion on Brexit: Nothing - unqualified to comment in both cases.

As opposed to those who made up fake predictions, should the U.K. vote to leave the E.U.

It may be a cheap and ugly pub chain, however you have to admit it’s a very successful and profitable business. So what about the political thoughts of the clever person at the top of this business.

Yes I did say that, which is not the same as saying that I am happy to let the EU make decisions for the UK.

In fact, I am not happy to let the EU make decisions for the UK. That's why I think we should leave.
