The Department of Agricultural Extension has joined hands with Thailand Post to sell farm products from across the country via an online platform.

The Department of Agricultural Extension Deputy Director, General Dares Kittiyopas, has revealed the new online farm product e-Market on Thailandpostmart.com, a service initiated through cooperation between the department and Thailand post, which has received positive feedback.

The new online service, launched in September 2018, has helped farmers in community enterprises, the Young Smart Farmer group and farmers in mega farm projects to sell their produce directly to customers by placing their orders online.

Thailand Post will deliver the produce to customer shipping addresses within 24 hours from order to ensure quality, and for greater convenience.

In addition, the Department of Agricultural Extension has developed and implemented electronic services to help farmers boost the effectiveness of manufacturing and sales. Farmers can contact the local agricultural extension offices to learn more about available services.

Frivolous nonsense article, the website sells everything just like dozens of other similar on-line websites but with user unfriendly graphics and presentation...

24 hours? it takes two days to get an EMS letter from Bangkok or Pattaya to Udon.

Ha ha! I hope the agricultural extension is nothing like an immigration extension. Can you imagine locals having to cope with that?
