Bag Ladies!

Featured Replies

Interestingly enough, I have become the proud new owner of a newspaper column called 'In the Bag' -basically a pyschological profile of a female 'victim' willing to empty the contents of her handbag for evaluation and photographic evidence. It's amazing what you find in ladies handbags and what it says about our personalities!

What's in your bag, gals (that you don't want the world to know about)?

ps. if you live on Phuket - PM me so we can discuss handbag conspiracy theories :o

My wife asked me to reply to this with the answer... 'Everything!'

change purse, smokes, toothbrush, lighter, dental floss, wadded up tissue, teeny tin of monkey balm, iodine, assorted candy wrappers and receipts, keys on Swiss army knife keyring, dig camera, notebook, two pens, emery board, and highlighter marker. Hey, my corkscrew is missing... :o

Just checked. Cigaretters, 8 lighters, purse, phone, pens, gameboy, camera, tampons (with bits of tobacco under the cellophane), white monkey cream, antihistamine, paracetamol, calpol tablets, tissues, lipsyl and the usual bits of detritus that come of having children. Glad I did it, it needed a clear out.

Wallet (lovely red Legacy Coach), small planner with matching pen(white and blue Coach), map of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thai phrasebook, english/thai dictionary, tissues, gum, emergency inhaler, house and car keys on a strap for easy grabbing, iPod plus earbuds, Palm PDA, dozens of business cards from friends and businesses, nailfile, UVA/UVB SPF 25 powder foundation compact in the best shade I can find which is still too dark for my skin, Splenda packets, assorted receipts, loose change, hand lotion, old used bus tickets, passport photos, passport photocopy, black gel pen, warranty card that needs mailing, Caltex coupons I got as a free bonus with a purchase, dental floss, stray foam applicator from trying an Oriental Princess powder foundation sample, empty gum wrappers, empty tissue pack, used cotton ball with blood from a blood test, used discount ticket from a store promotion, empty Splenda packets, and 10 baht in food stall coupons I forgot to turn in.

Has anyone else experienced the Law of Changing Purses? The one that states that, despite having nothing much in your bag, and carefully switching contents over to the new bag, anytime you change your bag you will wind up having a serious problem due to the lack of something that is back home in your old bag?

use rock salt instead of chemical deo. Much better and cheaper than flip flops.

I decided I needed a small brown bag as my big brown bag wasn't cutting it. So I went shopping and returned with a huge shiny black bag??!! Maybe that's why I have so many bags!

-wallet

-keys

-tums

-phone

-mouthwash

-tissue

-tylenol

-M.A.C makeup bag full of M.A.C makeup that I might as well throw away once I move back to meltyourfaceland.

-organizer

-because Im a teacher and have a lot of private students I have:

- Books: Yuck and his boogies, Horrid henry, Lucky the dog

- Halls

- Candy for bribes

- valium (just kidding! I wish!)

meme...dont throw anything away...throw them all this way!!!

Im reading this list and thinking that my bag is perhaps too minimalist :o

maybe I can also make mine a Doraemon one, where EVERYTHING seems to fit into that tiny little space :D
