Exactly.  And one of the young soldiers they murdered was actually a volunteer whose dream it was to be in the army.  Brutally murdered just the same for some unintentional infraction of petty rules but the murder was justified by the current powers that be and no one punished other than minor slap on wrist.

The mentality is not much different from the 70s under military governments when labour leaders simply disappeared, villagers were boiled in oil and their villages bombed by the airforce.  A mad monk preached that it was not a sin to kill a "communist".  It was only too easy to brand the enemies of those in power as communists.

Yes, I am in doubt in what he said,do you believe everything ,

everybody says,if so you are very nieve, A picture says a 1000

words,and the picture says he was not attacked by 5 men,with

sticks (unless they were drumsticks), are we looking at the same

picture?,now this post will disgust ,revile,and upset you even more !

Why the silly question. They could have beat him to death if not for the witnesses and bystanders who intervene. Just like the previous time he was abducted by uniform men and could have finished him off if not for the CCTV of the abduction spreading through the social media. Seriously why he need to exaggerate. He and his fellow activists have been attack numerous times. Why the urge to want him dead. Rather thuggish way of thinking.

Where is it reported that bystanders intervened? I don't want him dead, TYVM, but it seems reasonable that if 5 men with clubs attack a person with intent to kill, they may well succeed.

Well, it shows ME, that not only Trump got a lack of moral and character. 

As you would know best there are a lot of fake NEWS. However there is no doubt about it that this man was beaten up. This is to condemn. And everybody with common sense and a higher standard of morality will do so. 

My judgement about you did not change.

Nevertheless. I stand by my statement, if they intended to kill him they well may have done so. He certainly doesn't appear to be at Death's door, or even a short taxi ride to it. Perhaps the was a translation problem, and he actually attacked by 5 men with club memberships.

It's so easy where this attack come from: the ones he protested against! He is in their way and treated badly to catch up with the main stream in Thailand. Junta in power. That's the democracy in Thailand.

I am not ,have not, said the man was not attacked,it just was not by 5 men

with sticks, it's more like 5 men slapped him about a bit,,and just by the photo

Just as likely, given the guy's lack of serious injury, that it was a black flag operation perpetrated to garner sympathy and support for his cause.

 

Or, maybe just incompetent attackers.   Hard to say in Thailand. 

 

And whenever I think I know who the good guys are in Thai politics, it just turns out that someone's spin doctors have done a good job.
