Parking DMK

Featured Replies

Any recent experiences to share on parking at DMK for international flight, if that makes any difference.

  • 2 months later...

I parked at DMK airport basement parking. I think there are few parking spaces in DMK.

Basically, you will be asked for the duration of parking and they will escort you to the available parking space.

I was asked for tips after that, mainly i think because they knew i'm foreigner.

I parked for an hour and cost me 20baht

There is usually the one car park (most convenient) that is always full.... but hang around and tell the security you are parking for a few days.. ie shout "Sam Wan" (3 days)... they will remove the obstacle and let you in, a tip is of course appreciated..

Personally when travelling now after bad experience at the airport, I choose to stay at the Amari hotel the night before and catch a morning flight, they generally give you a few days free parking, but in the mornings it is chaos, double parking etc.. and you wont get out.

A little known secret is that the Amari has many parking spaces that are open for business to non-guests... Its a bit of walk and may be convenient.. Afterall, sometimes facing the right direction on the main road may be a godsend if travelling back by road at peak times.
