Collecting Money Online?

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

I'm going to be trying out a little service business here.  I will be providing a service totally online so I won't meet with the customers in person.  My question is, how can I collect the money from the Thai customers? If I were selling to people back home (in the US) I'd simply collect money via PayPal.  However, I don't think PayPal is a big thing here.

So you guys have any recommendations?  What's the best way to receive online payments from Thai customers (without an official website)?

Setup a proper company, get the right visa, work permit and pay taxes.

I've seen Thai sellers set up a "line" messenger account. Customers order the goods then transfer money into the sellers bank account. The purchaser then sends a photo of the atm slip via line to the seller. Once confirmed, the seller ships the goods.

Numerous methods from "Line Pay", QR code, Paypal and many other online services and Direct phone transfer

Its up to you to ascertain what fits your circumstances the best.

Bitcoin, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bank transfer

Many online sellers require a bank transfer as proven by the transfer document. The transfer data is usually just sent via Line. Once the money is in the bank then the seller ships the merchandise.
