Mooserj
The following information is shared from the Australian Embassy website regarding the Outreach Program on Friday, 14 June 2019. Consular Outreach Embassy staff will be conducting the next outreach visit to Chiang Mai on 14 June 2019 at the Le Meridien - between 9am to 12pm. Both notarial and passport services will be available. Please refer to our website for advice on what notarial services we can and cannot provided - https://thailand.embassy.gov.au/bkok/Notarial_Services.html Statutory declarations can only be witnessed if they are for use in Australia only. Please note that while Embassy staff can accept applications for a Certificate of No Impediment and take the fee, we cannot issue the Certificate of No Impediment at the outreach. Applications will be processed upon our return to Bangkok and posted to you soon after. For further information on the requirements for a Certificate of No Impediment, please refer to the Getting Married in Thailand page on this website. Australian passport applications can be lodged at the Outreach or weekly with the Honorary Consul, Chiang Mai - by appointment only. Please contact the Australian Consulate Chiang Mai (Monday to Thursday 9 am to 12 noon) on 091 857 6996 or by email – [email protected] - to book an appointment. For information on the requirements to lodge a passport application, please refer to Australian Passports section on the Embassy’s webpage. It is important to note that you need to allow a minimum of four weeks for the passport to be processed and returned to you. The Australian Embassy in Bangkok remains available for the lodgement of passport applications and notarial services. An appointment is required for these services. Please refer to the Appointment Booking page on our website for further information.
