It comes as the Iran-aligned Houthis launch fresh attacks against Saudi Arabia amid an escalating confrontation with Riyadh. The alert in Mecca marks a significant escalation in the fighting, which has already claimed thousands of lives and seen the Houthis seize control of large parts of Yemen's western coast.

Trying to bill the country as a luxury tourist attraction does not sit well with a war against the rebels. Trump has refused to help (I think he has the Irish Open coming up and he's favourite to lift the trophy) so they will have to carry on supporting the Yemeni government for what its worth........and hope some resolution is eventually found.
