WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump defended his administration's deal with Mexico against criticism that there were no major new commitments to stem a flow of Central American migrants crossing into the United States, and said on Sunday more details would soon be released.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain must stop financing fossil fuel projects abroad by 2021 as it undermines the nation's efforts to combat climate change, a report by lawmakers said on Monday.

CHISINAU (Reuters) - A Moldovan court temporarily relieved President Igor Dodon of his duties on Sunday to allow a stand-in to call a snap election, deepening a standoff between rival political parties over the formation of a new government after months of deadlock.

PHUKET: The Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Boxer and its accompanying 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) dropped anchor off Patong for a scheduled port visit on Saturday (June 8 ) after concluding naval exercises in the Andaman Sea with the French navy aircraft carrier FS Charles de Gaulle and its escort ships last Friday.

Evacuation plan for downtown Ratchaburi during disposal of WWII bombs

Dengue situation in Thailand’s Northeast likely to worsen this year

Dengue fever in Thailand’s northeastern region is likely to become more serious this year, particularly in Nakhon Ratchasima province where more than 1,400 people have been diagnosed as suffering from the mosquito-borne disease and in Ubon Ratchathani, where over 2,000 people have fallen sick and eight have died.

PM Prayut orders fair prices for medicines and medical services

BANGKOK, 10 June 2019 (NNT) - After some private hospitals in Thailand were found to be charging their patients 16,000% higher than the recommended prices, the Ministry of Commerce has announced that it will oversee the issue to alleviate the hardships of patients. The Prime Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, said today the World Health Organization’s (WHO) resolution is in line with the government’s policy to ensure fair prices for medicines, medical supplies, and medical services.
