ripstanley Posted June 10, 2019 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Phayao Immigration have moved from the old police station. They are now located 15 kms north of Phayao on highway 1. When heading north the office is on the right hand side of the road. You have to pass the actual building by about 200 meters and do a u turn. It is a brand new building. The entrance is up a flight of stairs. They also have a ramp for wheelchair access. The waiting area is inside and it is fully air conditioned. In and out very quickly. Good service by the staff. ripstanley Posted June 18, 2019 Author Share Posted June 18, 2019 Drove to Chiang Rai today. The actual building is 15 Kms from Phayao. When travelling south the 15 km marker is under the over head pedestrian bridge right outside of the new building. The actual distance to the u turn when travelling north is about 900 metres.
