Current time limit from get bank letter/update book to apply retirement visa?

Hi guys, just a simple question. I want to know what is max time window allowed from getting bank letter+updated book to applying for retirement visa. I'm specifically interested in Jomtien Immigration and their most current policy. Last year they allowed me 2 days. BUT when I went to Kaisikorn today , they told me visa application must be same day  as letter! I ignored them and got letter today anyway and will go to Jomtien tommorow. If 100 baht wasted so be it. Has anyone done similar at Jomtien say in last 2 weeks? Were you allowed 0 days or 1-2 days...thanks

Recent post have stated they will accept a letter that is up to 3 days old. 

They may want to see the bank book updated on the day you apply.
