I'll be visiting Thailand on a 30 day Visa exemption in a couple of months time and staying in Bangkok and Pattaya.

But I also want to fly from Bangkok to Chiang Mai during my stay. Obviously this is a domestic flight but was just wondering what the arrival procedure is at Chiang Mai Airport.

Do I have to clear immigration again? Will I have to obtain another Visa Exemption and will I get any problems when I arrive back in Bangkok a few days later?

Thanks

No immigration and no new stamp in your passport (actually a passport isn't even required for a domestic flight, if you had a Thai driving license you could use this to identify yourself). So once you arrive at Chiang Mai you can just walk out, there is nothing you have to do (besides maybe picking up your luggage)
