Hi

I have a few old Android phone with Android 4.0 or 5.0 and no way to upgrade them.

I would like to set them up as MP3 players only.

I would like to be able to set them up as monaural so I can just use one earphone only.

 

So is there a simple app , low power usage for the screen , and able to set the bass etc .

 

I really do not need much as far as quality , I am happy with AM radio quality.

how many 'MP3' Apps have you tried? via the Google Play...

 

only you can find one that suits your particular phone model, trial and error...

"POWERAMP" has been around a long time.  There is a free version but if you want extensive controls the paid version is required.

Suggest you just go to "Play Store" and put "music player" into the search bar.  Many free players offered. Try them out till you find one you like.  You will likely have to put-up with ad's on the free apps.
