That is a real shock. I only contacted Gary a week or so ago to let him know I was sending back a few bits n pieces from UK. Tea, Mushy Peas and dried mixed herbs. I feel really sorry for this guy's family. He seemed so up beat, helpful and full of life. Please pass on my condolences also. I don't know how old Gary was. I never asked him but he did not look that old to me. Mostly healthy looking when I last met him. Anyway a great loss to his family.

Marco, do you have Gary's full postal address by any chance as Samroeng and I would like to send a card to his wife and family if possible. If you do have this then please PM/email me with the details. All the best.

Thanks.

I never interacted with Garry (I don't live in Isaan so this forum is usually not in my rounds), but he seems like a good chap. Always sad when someone goes suddenly, I lost a dear friend and fellow TV member (Andyfletch) in similar circumstances last year (talked to him saturday, sad phone call sunday).

Perhaps Admin could revive the idea of an 'in-memorium' forum, we've now lost (at least) three well known members in 6 months, we should remember them all.

Rest in Peace Garry.

Rest in Peace Gary. He seemed like a real good guy as he never had a negative word to say to anyone regardless of the issue or poster.

Thanks for the update Marco.
